Location: Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Shift Options:
- Morning: 6:30am – 2:45pm
- Evening: 2:30pm – 10:15pm
(Weekend availability required – at least one weekend day)
Do you love working with dogs and being part of a passionate, supportive team? We’re looking for caring, reliable Animal Caretakers to join our dedicated crew at Cuddle Up Pup, a luxury pet resort offering daycare, boarding, grooming, and more.
What You’ll Do:
As an Animal Caretaker, you'll spend your day caring for and supervising groups of dogs both indoors and in our spacious, turfed outdoor yards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Feeding and cleaning up after dogs
- Managing dog behavior in a kind, patient, and effective way
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and fun environment for our furry guests
- Communicating with team members to provide top-notch care
What We’re Looking For:
- A true dog lover with a strong work ethic
- Able to stay calm in high-energy or stressful situations
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and being active (bending, reaching, crouching, and standing for long periods)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work holidays as needed
- Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll train the right person!
- Must be 17
