Are you an animal lover who thrives in a lively environment? Cuddle Up Pup, a premier luxury pet resort in Lee's Summit, is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team! If you're organized, friendly, and enjoy interacting with both pets and their owners, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Guests: Greet our adorable canine clients and their owners with a warm smile during check-in and check-out.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients, answer questions, resolve issues, and efficiently manage client records with a positive attitude.
- Lobby and Retail Management: Keep our lobby sparkling clean and inviting while assisting in our retail area.
- Team Interaction: Collaborate closely with team members and coordinate with veterinary clinics as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Team Player: You work well independently but also enjoy collaborating with a passionate team.
- Experience: Previous receptionist or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Composed Under Pressure: You handle stressful situations with grace and calm.
- Patience and Care: You manage challenging dog behaviors with a gentle and effective approach.
- Physical Readiness: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active throughout your shift with bending, crouching, and standing.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Dependability: Reliable transportation and strong multitasking and organizational skills are essential.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

At Cuddle Up Pup, we provide exceptional boarding, doggie daycare, grooming, and retail services in our spacious 10,000-square-foot facility. With five distinct areas, our environment includes individual daycare and boarding rooms that open onto expansive, artificially turfed yards. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding care, and our dedicated team is key to our success!
Shift Times:
- Weekdays: 6:45 AM - 2:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Weekends: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Candidates must be available to work at least one weekend day.
