Salary Range: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Job Overview
As a Siewert Equipment Service & Repair Technician you will perform hands-on technical services for a wide variety of pumps, controls, and other types of rotating equipment. You will exhibit a high level of motivated professionalism with a high degree of technical aptitude to provide both in-shop and field service support to Industrial and Municipal customers throughout upstate NY. This position requires a unique combination of customer service skills, teamwork, problem solving skills and drive.
Our most successful Field Service Technicians:
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain an organized, clean & resourceful work environment to include the shop, individual work areas, and service vehicle.
- Understand and adhere to all safety-related policies, rules, and guidelines.
- Are able to work outdoors in seasonal conditions and lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted, 100 lbs. assisted.
- High School Diploma required.
- Mechanical and/or electrical background required.
- Minimum 5 years pump or other rotating equipment maintenance & repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Scope of Responsibility:
- Repair, maintain, and trouble-shoot pumps, blowers, motors, and controls.
- Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation for assigned work.
- Develop and facilitate equipment start-up training
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and suppliers
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service.
- Frequent day travel throughout upstate NY with some overnight travel required.
- Preforms all other duties as assigned.
