Our Ballston Spa location is currently looking to immediately fill a Door Shop Assembler position.

Summary:
This position will be responsible for inside production of interior doors. To set and prepare machinery used daily to ensure product specifications and accurate measurements for quality and timely production of projects.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for quality, timely production of interior doors and door units.
- Assembly of interior door units.
- Take accurate measurements using various tools.
- Set and prepare specifications for machinery.
- Safely and efficiently handling, working on, and operating machinery.
- Repairs completed on millwork complaints.
- Door shop is to be kept orderly, neat and clean at all times.
- Develop new and existing skills through educational programs with both company provided and self-directed training.
- Assist and support sales with product selection, questions and order writing
- Check orders for accuracy
- Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and to maintain the profitability of the sale
- Deal directly with vendors to ensure prompts and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations
- Inspect goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications
- Handle any delivery inconsistencies or delays
- Develop a continuous business relationship with customers and our vendors
