Summary
This role will coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) as they are submitted by engineering team members. This role will also direct material dispositions and implementation dates for parts which may be superseded by new parts by evaluating current inventory reserves and future demand. This role will report through engineering but will work closely with procurement, inventory management, purchasing, and production. Additionally, this role will advance and streamline the capabilities of our PLM platform while working with our internal software team to integrate functions with our data systems. Must be detail oriented and have a passion for organization, process control, collaboration, and above all excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check revised prints for missing items and basic level of completeness
- Work closely with engineering to understand changes and how implementation should be accomplished

Work closely with downstream stakeholders to ensure change is communicated properly
- Procurement
- Purchasing

- Technical publications
- Service
- Sales
- Track ECO’s and insure they are getting processed in a timely manner
- Determine effective dates for changes to be implemented based on current inventory and parts disposition
- Communicate with inventory management what changes need to be made to ERP system
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work in fast-paced environment, juggling projects, handling multiple issues at once
- Performing detail-oriented work requiring high levels of accuracy
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from manager
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees
- Strong desire to learn
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred but not required
- Experience and understanding of heavy trucks and heavy equipment is a plus
Working Conditions

- Works between an office and plant environment with exposure to varying degrees of temperatures and noise.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time including overnight stays
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, and walking to move about the facility
- Attendance - The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
