Position Overview: The Assistant Property Manager will work alongside the Senior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of retail and other commercial properties. Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenant relationships and ensure compliance with lease agreements including rent collection, rent renewals and late fees.
- Process maintenance and repair requests in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Assist with tenant move-in and move-out inspections.
- Prepare financial reports and budgets related to property management.
- Act as a liaison between tenants, property owners, vendors and contractors.
- Maintain and update all tenant records and other documents related to property management.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure the security of the property.
- Bachelors degree in real estate, business, management or related field.
- NVRE license and Property Management certificate or ability to get them fairly quickly.
- 2 years of experience in property management, preferably in retail.
- Knowledge of office buildings, retail properties and related laws.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Nice to have: experience as a Property Coordinator or similar role.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
