We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while performing tasks.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
- Technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Experience in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
