Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the court's calendar, including scheduling court appearances, hearings, and other events.
- Communicate with judges, attorneys, and other court personnel to schedule and confirm court dates.
- Ensure the accuracy of all court documents and records, including the court's docket.
- Monitor and track deadlines for court proceedings and filings.
- Provide administrative support to judges and attorneys by preparing and distributing court documents, orders, and other materials.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or paralegal training preferred.
- Prior experience as a calendar clerk or in a similar administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is a plus.
