Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Perform labor, material, and subcontractor cost estimations for HVAC systems.
- Conduct profit analysis to ensure project viability and competitiveness.
- Utilize data analysis to forecast project costs and trends.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors to obtain pricing and scope of work.
- Oversee the preparation of bid proposals and submit them in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the estimation process.
- Proven experience in HVAC estimating and project management.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in data analysis and cost estimation methodologies.
- Experience in labor cost estimation, material cost estimation, and subcontractor cost estimation.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and practices.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and Energy Gauge software.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
