The Technology Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of technology systems for various projects. This position requires expertise in technology engineering design, field verification, and construction administration to ensure that all systems are integrated effectively and meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop technology engineering solutions for various projects.
- Conduct field verification to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and manage design packages for technology systems.
- Oversee construction administration related to technology installations.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Provide verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables as a part of project management efforts.
- Ensure compliance with EIA/TIA standards, BICSI standards, and NEC/NFPA codes in all designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in technology engineering design and field verification.
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Experience in Outside Plant Design and Structured Cabling Systems.
- Knowledge of A/V Design, CCTV Design, Access Control Design, and Public Address Design.
- Understanding of Low Voltage Systems and applicable standards.
- RCDD Certification preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in construction management and project management.
