Job Description Job Description Lead a multidisciplinary group of engineers in the creation and tracking of deliverables, manage the group according to company metrics, work as customer interface to drive growth and customer satisfaction for a major aerospace company. This is a high visible position which requires frequent interaction with the customers, and internal executive management team. The team lead will be responsible to drive the QN business where the team is engaged in start to close of the QN items. Responsibilities include Lead the group of excellent project engineers who drives the QN business from start to close of the QNs. Engage in the resolving issues or hurdles in their respective group. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and own the assigned projects Track budgets, deliverables and report regularly on project status Hire, build and retain talent and drive the proficiency growth of their team. Create, and update the metrics and monthly goals, and present it to the customers. Interact with engineers and client to ensure timely delivery of parts Identify potential delays and devise solutions Cooperate and communicate effectively with customers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Drive continuous process improvements/cost savings 7 years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications College and/or working experience as a project engineer in an aerospace manufacturing environment Working Experience in an environment with a focus on quick turn-around time Excellent time management and organizational skills Adaptable to change Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel and VBA macros is a plus Familiarity with SAP a plus Familiarity with Aerospace and Jet Engines is a plus Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a plus Ability to work with an interdisciplinary group of engineers, customers, and executives Must have experience of Project Management of 1 years in Cyient *Due to ITAR restrictions, this position does require US Citizenship. · Skills & Experience Jet engine familirization, Process Improvements, Project Management Cyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
