SCADA Engineer

Job Description:

• Focusing on end user device performance, reliability, and usability.
• Managing the lifecycle of devices and operating systems.
• Management of endpoint devices (workstations, laptops, mobile, wearables)
• Engineering and technical support for security software.
• Offering virtual desktop (remote desktop) and application options.
• Providing Multi-Function Devices, Follow-Me print, and Secure print options.
• Engineering secure access to web enabled applications via browser technologies.
• Presenting a consistent experience to users across devices.
• Securing devices and platforms (including management of physical & virtual smartcards).
• Principal Technologist is a known Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge in more than one end user computing area and regularly mentors and works to develop the abilities of others.
• This role participates in external communities to influence vendor and market directions, gain industry insight on emerging technical developments to translate learnings into potential opportunities for client.
• Decisions within this role are used by executive level management as input into long-term business strategies, staffing and talent development, and external partnerships.
