As the Warranty Coordinator, your primary role will be to create an excellent customer experience and a smooth transition from the end of build through service after the sale. Your primary focus will be ensuring successful execution of a customer relations program that adheres to Cypress Homes Inc. established timelines and high-quality standards, with an elevated level of client satisfaction. The role entails ensuring efficient communication and coordination between clients, our construction teams, and internal departments. Responsibilities
- Leverage your construction knowledge to effectively communicate technical information between customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Build strong customer relationships to ensure an excellent experience before and after the sale.
- Become a subject matter expert on Cypress Homes' warranty policies and procedures.
- Ensure Cypress Homes' high quality standards through diligence and responsiveness.
- Develop great collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to be initiative-taking and solutions oriented.
- Complete on-site walk-throughs with customers and project managers to create punch lists.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to complete punch list items prior to closing.
- Create and implement a comprehensive customer relations program, incorporating elements such as follow-up surveys, newsletters, and structured feedback mechanisms to gather insights and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, field staff and customers to rectify open warranty items.
- Manage open warranty claims by prioritizing scope of work, urgency, and subcontractor/field staff efficiency.
- Maintain timely resolution of warranty financial matters.
- Complete administrative tasks timely; prepare warranty documents, binders, SOPs and project updates.
- Develop plans and act in collaboration with internal and external teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in residential construction or a related field (required).
- Strong ability to assess and prioritize customer needs while maintaining company policies and procedures.
- Possess effective and efficient organizational and follow through methods.
- Ability to clearly communicate simple and technical information between stakeholders.
- Proven experience in customer relations and relationship building.
- Proficiency in project or customer management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: Hourly, $21.00 - $26.50
