Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Softball Instructor who shares D-BAT’s core values and is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of young athletes. As a D-BAT Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions that improve players' skills, understanding of the game, and love for softball.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct private and group softball training sessions focused on areas such as hitting, pitching, fielding, and game strategies.
· Develop customized training plans that address individual and group needs, ensuring alignment with D-BAT’s standards of excellence.
· Actively embody and promote D-BAT’s core values: Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Teaching, and Commitment to Player Development.
· Provide positive and constructive feedback to guide players’ technical and mental growth.
· Ensure a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
· Properly manage and maintain training equipment and safety protocols.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of college-level softball playing experience.
· Strong technical knowledge of softball skills, drills, and gameplay strategies.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for coaching.
· Ability to work with a diverse range of athletes, adapting teaching styles to fit various skill levels.
