Daikin Applied Americas is expanding its Talent Acquisition team in Southern MN. This role will support one of the three facilities in Southern MN (Owatonna and Faribault) and will focus on non-exempt hiring, developing new and creative pipelines, and meeting the hiring needs of a growing business.

Summary:Manage the full life cycle recruiting process for union and non-exempt roles.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full cycle of recruiting including sourcing, conducting phone interviews, coordinating interview schedules, presenting qualified candidates, reviewing pre-employment assessment results and background checks, and applicant and candidate communications.
- Identify and manage recruiting strategy for assigned business areas; source qualified candidates through the effective use of strategic sourcing via creative resources; direct sourcing, social media, networking, pipelining, cold calling, candidate mining, etc.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and internal business customers to manage recruiting strategy with a national focus supporting business needs.
Build strong relationships and proactively report hiring activity through communication, meetings, and tailored reports - Make hiring recommendations, extend, and negotiate offers of employment to select candidates including salary and relocation benefits.
- Employ interviewing techniques to assess the fit between a candidate's previous experience and the position.
- Influence leadership to proactively succession plan and forecast hiring needs in advance of open positions.
- Drive the Daikin Applied employee referral program.
- Organize, lead and document post-interview debriefing/feedback with interview teams.
- Work within ATS system guidelines and define manage applicant and candidate activity
- Understand business strategy and operational goals of the Talent Acquisition teams and devise strategic plans to execute
- Develop position-specific search strategies that leverage the best proactive recruiting methodologies
- Plan, coordinate and attend career fairs and special events as it relates to sourcing talent to fill critical needs.
- Network through industry contacts, university programs, association memberships, trade groups, and employees to build a qualified talent pool.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field required.
- 0-3 years of experience in professional activities transferable to recruiting
- Experience with manufacturing, sales, service, engineering, HVAC is a plus.
- Capability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
