Daikin Applied is seeking a Facilities Technician IV whose is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the organization's facilities, systems, or equipment. The position receives work order requests for facilities maintenance from employees, ensures work is performed in a timely manner, and triages requests to prioritize the most critical repairs.
Location: In office, Plymouth, MN
What you will do:
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery and to buildings and facilities, including painting, plastering, carpentry, or plumbing.
- Maintain safety procedures at all times.
- Makes plumbing repairs and installations.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Set up tables and chairs as well as conference room setups.
- Move and set up workstations/offices.
- Performs maintenance, repair or replacement of broken parts (including HVAC equipment).
- Assists facilities and/or maintenance mechanics in the servicing and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Maintains building and grounds as needed.
- Lubricate, inspect and recycle equipment and raw materials.
- Maintain facilities records using applicable recording procedures.
- Responds to emergencies and supports after hours facility needs and activities as required.
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance or as-needed repairs on facilities or systems, which may include mechanical or electrical systems, HVAC or other environmental management systems, generators or power management systems, or fire or safety systems.
- Make basic repairs and coordinate the work of specialists when more complex repairs are needed.
- Schedule maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to organizational operations wherever possible.
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group

Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 years of technical experience or a combination of education and experience
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational/Technical education in Maintenance-related subject matter.
