Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash transactions with basic math skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Experience with upselling techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
