What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter/Powder Coater position at Dakota Bodies Llc?
1st Shift Hours: 6am - 4:30pm
2nd Shift Hours: 4:25pm - 2:55am
2nd Shift Differential is an additional $2.00/hour
The Powder Coat Line Painter will be responsible for proper preparation of product and equipment, applying powder coat, and ensuring quality per customer and company specifications. They will be able to work and train all aspects of the powder coat line.
Job Responsibilities
- The ability to work as a team, follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by paint lead
- Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment required for surface preparation, primer and topcoat application.
- Cleaning and maintaining of all equipment and booths
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment to prime truck bodies
- Make paint rework repairs as needed
- Employee must be able to work in a respirator
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience painting in an industrial setting.
- The successful candidate will be able to proficiently perform each of the duties listed above.
