FP&A Manager - Boston
A leading Boston-based media company is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across multiple business units. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with functional leaders to analyze trends, support strategic decisions, and drive financial accountability. This opportunity is hybrid (3 days onsite)!
Compensation: $110,000-115,000 on a base
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a finance business partner to functional and revenue leaders
- Lead annual budgeting, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and multi-year planning
- Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
- Analyze variances vs. budget/forecast and provide actionable insights
- Partner with Accounting/GL to ensure accurate revenue and expense reporting
- Support automation and continuous improvement of FP&A reporting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 5 years of finance or FP&A experience
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Prior people management experience or interest in developing others
- Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite is a plus
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
