Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Mission, the role of the Mission Coach is integral to activating and imbedding the Mission and Values of DAP Health into the hearts and minds of every Team Member. The Mission Coach works closely with leaders and Team Members across the organization to cultivate a culture of lived Mission and Values in goal setting, process improvement, interpersonal relationships, communication, and trainings. This role is highly empathic, relational, motivational, demonstrating a passion for service and capacity to inspire and collaborate well with others.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities 

• Embody DAP Health’s Mission and Values consistently
• Establish effective and trusted key relationships across the organization
• Coach Team Members to keep a line of sight to the Members and community DAP Health serves
• Work closely with Team Members, and leaders as needed, in cultivating their competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) to live the Mission and Values consistently
• Identify obstacles and barriers to Living the Mission and recommend strategies
• Guide and assist leaders in recognizing, capturing, and sharing Mission Moments
• Support Team Members, and leaders as needed, in building personal and team ownership of DAP Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values
• Lead and facilitate team conversations or team building events to assist teams in overcoming barriers to working collaboratively and living the mission, vision and values
• Maintain existing employee wellness programs and discounts
• Collaborates with Learning and Development team to develop comprehensive training materials on psychological safety
• Partner with the Learning and Development team to address any potential learning gaps while assessing different teams.
• Participate, as needed, with clinical departments in integrating DAP Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values for Members into assessments and trainings
• Collaborate with necessary departments on the goals of the Strategic Plan, with a focus on:
  • Goal 1: Organizational Strength – Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Goal 2: Strategy - education and formation in Mission
• Participate in Mission Team effectiveness analysis and reporting.
• Participate in Mission, Vision, and Values external strategies as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to facilitate one on one conversations as well as group conversations
• Strong and engaging presentation and public speaking skills 
• Ability to present data multiple different ways to ensure learning of all styles
• Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to:
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring all sensitive matters remain confidential
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of individuals both internally and externally
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, including phone and in person
  • Work in collaboration with a team and respectfully challenge and express opinions
• Must display the ability for captivating storytelling, coaching with empathy, active listening and the ability to encourage, empower and motivate others
• Ability to embrace and set the example of the DAP Health mission and vision

Education and Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of experience teaching, facilitating or coaching required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, or Organizational Development
• Minimum one year's experience facilitating presentations
• Master’s degree preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• This position is on-site at DAP Sunrise Admin
• This job operates in an office setting and requires constant times of sitting, repetitive motion, and occasional standing times
• Ability to lift up to 24 pounds
• Requires current and valid driver’s license and current personal auto insurance 
• Some travel mostly within business hours for support to DAP Health locations throughout San Diego and the Coachella Valley

Salary : $37 - $40
