PART TWO:FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Position Objective
To prepare meals and snacks in the Coffee Shop for employees and visitors, as well as perform kitchen nutrition aide duties when required.
Performance Expectation
Flexibility and creativity in menu planning is necessary.
Utilization of product to limit waste.
Keeps food out of the "danger zone."
Personnel problems are reported to either the Department Manager or Human Resources.
Keeps counter and seating area as clean as time allows.

To prepare meals and snacks in the Coffee Shop for employees and visitors, as well as perform kitchen nutrition aide duties when required.
Performance Expectation
- Prepares and serves a variety of breakfast and lunch items daily to employees and visitors including the weekly "cook-out"(Thursday).
Flexibility and creativity in menu planning is necessary.
Utilization of product to limit waste.
- Is responsible for all cash transactions (including Auxiliary baked goods) and cashing out daily.
- Adheres to the department's infection control policy to maintain sanitary food preparation, storage and serving areas.
Keeps food out of the "danger zone."
- Maintains a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors.

Keeps counter and seating area as clean as time allows.
