Job Functions:
- Applies sound drafting principals and standards in the creation of drawings and related documents for utility substation or transmission line designs using Autocad and/or Microstation
- Make revisions to existing drawings using Autocad and/or Microstation
- Assures all project deliverables meet the technical requirements of the project
- Assists in the performance of quality review of all project documents
- Work with Supervising Engineers, Design Supervisor, and Project Managers to make sure projects are completed on schedule and within project budget
- Perform Project Close-Out and As-Built revisions
- Assures all project documents are properly entered into and managed by the document management system
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in CAD, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar or related field.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors. Able to work in a collaborative process.
- Attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Dedication to completing a project on schedule is essential. Efficient use of time is critical. Willingness to work to meet deadlines as required by client demands.
