What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Coordinator position at Datum Commercial Contracting?
Datum Contracting is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the significant growth and expansion of our Austin and out-of-town operations.
Responsibilities:
- Attend handoff meetings
- Submits appropriate paperwork to subcontractors
- Maintains project needs for duration of the project:
- Creates admin billing schedule
- Reviews and reports projects home city permits/ inspections
- Orders necessary materials and onsite equipment as required
- Sends RFI's, logs and provides follow up as necessary
- Set up / track submittals using project management software
- Attends project budget review meetings
- Attends schedule review meetings when changes occur
- Enters change orders
- Creates, records and follows up with project walk throughs and punch lists
- Requests all subcontractor close out documents, logs, follows up and remits to client
- Maintains archive files and archiving of completed projects that are out of warranty
- Maintains warranty log
- Problem solving and conflict resolution
Requirements:
- Two years office experience, preferably in construction or engineering environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
- Procore or similar Project Management software experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills in Google Drive.
- Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
