The Library is hiring a Youth Services Manager that enjoys working with children and leading a team of Youth Services Specialists who provide exceptional services of children’s programming.
The Youth Services Manager creatively and dependably interprets the vision, mission and goals defined by the Youth Services Administrator, working with the youth team to develop and deliver effective youth services programs and collections that support those goals. The Youth Service Manager trains, coaches and manages their staff in meeting departmental goals and objectives.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications: Associate degree or higher. Two years’ experience working with youth, required. Two years supervisory experience required. Previous experience with curriculum or program development required. Technology experience required
Requires independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations, professional customer service and communication skills, ability to move library materials within and between locations, ability to retrieve and place books on shelves, sufficient mobility to perform programming for children.
