- Responsible for organizing and managing all site field activities, including management of all craft and craft supervision positions—coordinating the support of field operations and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage cost and schedule performance and reviews estimates and work orders for accuracy and take ownership of scope, equipment needs, and man-loading.
- The General Superintendent must also understand and comply with all client-owner labor contracts and jurisdictional agreements, and interfaces with the owner’s site representative on a daily basis, keeping the client-owner abreast of all D&Z field operation’s tasks and activities.
- In addition, the General Superintendent performs field walk-downs and reviews constructability, driving change to increase productivity and keep projects on budget and on schedule.
- Provides support and assistance to the Site Manager and assume his/her role in their absence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equal years of related work experience in a Maintenance/Modification or Construction environment.
