Summary:
For over 40 years, Dean Mead has been providing exceptional legal services to businesses and individuals across Florida. Dean Mead is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk, based out of our downtown Orlando office (named a “Coolest Workspace” by Orlando Weekly).
This position offers excellent growth opportunities for the aspiring professional looking to develop their career in legal accounting. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and excited to collaborate within a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post soft costs (copies, postage/fedex, etc.) to accounting software.
- Prepare daily bank deposits.
- Email attorneys/support staff regarding overpayments .
- Maintenance of client and matter information.
- Process client credit card payments.
- Research payment inquiries.
- Other administrative duties, as assigned by supervisors.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required).
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience (Required), in a legal setting (Preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Required).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
- This position reports to work in-person at our downtown Orlando office.
