Deep South Crane & Rigging, LLC is accepting resumes to fill a clerk position in the Accounts Receivable department at the Corporate Office in Baton Rouge, LA. Interested?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform weekly Payroll timesheet entry, accurately and efficiently
- Audit weekly Payroll to confirm position codes, job codes, taxes, union rates, etc.
- Compare weekly timesheets to AR Timekeeper entries and correct any errors
- Import, process and issue checks via Payroll software
- Meet weekly Payroll deadlines and adjust to shorter Holiday deadlines
- Sort, scan, and file Payroll documents, along with other general office clerical duties
- Assist in other accounting areas, providing support to the team as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, or closely related degree, preferred
- Preferably has 1-2 years Payroll experience for a mid-size company
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Outlook
- Demonstrate a high degree of ownership
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
