Are you the kind of person who sees what needs to be done—and does it without being asked? Do you take pride in fixing, maintaining, and keeping things running smoothly inside and out?
We’re seeking a hands-on, motivated, and reliable Property Maintenance person to help care for two private homes sitting on 20 acres. If you're experienced in light plumbing, electrical work, sheetrock, painting, lawn care, and general upkeep—and you don’t mind washing vehicles or running the occasional errand—we want to talk to you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general home maintenance and repairs, including:
- Light plumbing and electrical work
- Drywall repair and painting
- Basic carpentry and general fix-it tasks
- Basic A/C maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain exterior property:
- Lawn care and landscaping
- Pressure washing and general outdoor upkeep
- Clean and maintain vehicles
- Run errands and assist with property-related tasks as needed
- Monitor property condition and identify maintenance needs proactively
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general handyman work
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and property maintenance
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with physical work and outdoor tasks
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
Work Environment:
- Two private residences on a large rural property
- Pool
- Minimal supervision – ideal for a self-starter
- Diverse tasks – no two days are exactly the same
