What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elevator Service Technician - Marine Division position at Delaware Elevator?
Delaware Elevator of Florida has an immediate opening for Elevator Service Technician to provide Maintenance, Service, Repair & Modernization on elevators aboard various types of marine vessels. When not on a vessel, local work based out of one of our domestic branch offices: Salisbury or Laurel MD, Wilmington DE, VA Beach, or Southern FL areas.
Qualifications/ Skills & Abilities:
- We require a minimum of 5 years' experience working independently as an Elevator Mechanic / Technician and hold valid elevator mechanic credentials - will consider state elevator license with additional years of experience
- Able to pass pre-employment screening, included drug, background checks and MVA Driving history & record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and elevator troubleshooting skills with ability to handle physical workload required fit-for-duty assessment
- Able to travel domestic and / or international ports, as needed
