Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will implement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products, by using knowledge of tool design and fabrication methods. Other necessary skills include project management ability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
· Scope, design, propose, document, built and validate manufacturing equipment. This includes test stands, assembly and fabrication equipment, facilities/infrastructure projects, capital equipment among others.
· Develop processes, standard work documents, test procedures and control plans for manufacturing.
· Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
· Provides business decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
· Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
· Provides evaluation and recommendations to management on regulator issues relative to manufacturing functions.
· Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
· Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Other:
· Engineering resource for new product development activities
· Technical advisor to customers and Depatie sales.
· Lead cross functional teams and engineering team members as directed by manager.
· Other duties as necessitated by the business as directed by manager.
Qualifications:
· 4 year College Technical Degree in Related Discipline or Equivalent Experience.
· 5 or More Years Technical Knowledge/Experience preferably with Hydraulics/Pneumatics.
· Fluid Power Experience, Formal Training and Certifications, preferred.
