Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AML/KYC Analyst II to join a leading global financial institution. The ideal candidate will support client onboarding, account transitions, and KYC profile updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
This role requires a strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments to maintain data accuracy and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct operational and data analysis activities for client onboarding, transitions, and conversions.
- Update client profiles to align with current AML/KYC policy standards.
- Open new accounts and prepare onboarding documentation after AML/KYC due diligence.
- Close client accounts after verifying there are no pending activities or balances.
- Review and complete account opening checklists for accuracy and completeness.
- Support pre-transition testing and quality assurance of client data.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage timelines and documentation.
- Escalate discrepancies or delays to senior team members as needed.
- Provide support to client transition and relationship management teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in AML, KYC, compliance, or client onboarding within financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data review and documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CAMS Certification (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist).
- Prior experience supporting financial transitions or client onboarding in a large financial institution.
- Background in project coordination or client operations.
