- Utilizes demand forecasts and sales trends to create and maintain demand plans, capacity plans, and master production schedules.
- Interfaces with manufacturing, materials, logistics, technical support, commodity managers, and R&D to ensure availability of necessary raw materials. Escalates to commodity managers as appropriate for critical path issues, obsolescence, or pricing disputes.
- Ensures that raw material shortages are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Drives the resolution process of MRP exceptions, and resolves MRP discrepancies.
- Provides Order Management and Sales with shipment commitments.
- Reviews open order reports and other indicators to ensure a timely delivery of finished goods to support customer demand.
- Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising.
- Notifies Order Management, Manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders whenever an existing shipment commitment is in jeopardy, and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied.
- Assists Order Management, Sales, and Marketing in setting priorities when demand exceeds supply.
- Maintains inventory levels within established goals and guidelines and recommends adjustments in stocking levels.
- Monitors and implements actions to minimize raw material and finished goods scrap.
- Helps to maintain Bill of Material (BOM) structures as required.
- Participates as a reviewer/approver in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. Sends ECO data packages to suppliers as required.
- Reviews cycle count and/or physical inventory records and resolves any discrepancies.
- Maintains scheduling parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, scales, safety stocks, and other item attributes for all planned items.
- Ensures completion of manual product system planning and associated documentation for production as required.
- Manages the tactical business relationship between the supplier and Luminex, and ensures the communications are clear and appropriate.
- Notifies commodity manager of supply risk exposure and participates in risk mitigation measures as needed.
- Participates in MRB as needed, while executing material dispositions involving return of material to supplier.
- Investigates and drives corrective actions to receiving and accounting problems related to purchase orders.
- Scope of work and actions are collaboratively managed with Supervisor.
- Ensures that all processes are conducted according to approved procedures.
- Works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to resolve issues for current sourced solutions. Helps to facilitate initial contacts between site technical SME's and the current supplier as needed. Escalates to commodity manager for unresolved items, slow responses, or repeating concerns.

- Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, or equivalent required
- 1 Years Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Master Scheduling required
- 1 Years Experience in a Medical Device, Pharma, or other Healthcare field preferred
- 1 Years Experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment preferred
- 1 Years Experience in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
- 1 Years Experience with oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) preferred
- 1 Years Experience in a GMP and/or FDA regulated environment preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (High proficiency)
- Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines (High proficiency)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (High proficiency)
- Highly organized with proven time management and prioritization skills (High proficiency)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (High proficiency)
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)-APICS preferred
- CSSBB - Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Possible exposure to Chemicals, Lasers, Excessive Noise, etc. - Occasionally
- Work situations include dealing with people; working alone; making judgments and decisions; and directing, controlling or planning the activity of others - Frequently
- 10% Travel may be required internationally and domestically

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $98,000.The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
