Position Description
Summary :
The Recruit Marketing Specialist is responsible for the successful promotion and marketing of the bank's products and services to the prospective recruit clients at the Recruit Training Center.
Responsible to generate sales and promote bank products to qualified customers with ethical oversight of bank operations and adherence to all procedures.
Responsible for providing a superior client experience. Communicates effectively and is highly engaged and energized to speak publicly to large audiences.
The position pays a minimum of $18.50 per hour and is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation based on achievement of established incentive goals.

Principal Accountabilities :
Markets bank products to target clients outside of the banking center by attending daily briefings at Naval Station Great Lakes and facilitating public presentations to new RecruitsGenerates new business by explaining the Armed Forces Bank story along with the features and benefits of bank products to a target audienceAttends local functions and events primarily hosted by military groups located on the installationIdentifies and pursues marketing opportunities to build brand awareness around the installationBuilds relationships with key decision makers and influencers at the installationSupports installation events and generates opportunities for programs that provide mutual benefit such as financial education initiativesProfessionally and ethically represents the bankDeliver fast, easy and personal service consistent with company standards in all client, non-client and associate interactionsUnderstands, embodies, communicates and instills corporate initiatives and vision, including the six pillars of successAdhere to all bank compliance, security and operational policies and proceduresMaintain client information in complete confidenceComplete other specified duties as assignedRegular attendance required, working at the work site during regular business hours and / or assigned hours

Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree preferred2 years banking experience preferredMilitary experience preferredEngaging presentation delivery and facilitation skillsPublic speaking experienceMarketing experience preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to complete work accuratelyHigh emotional intelligence with proven ability to be self-motivatedMust be able to multi-task and be comfortable with on-the-job trainingWorking knowledge of common computer programs (i.

Physical Requirements :
The work environment is typical of standard office and retail banking settings. The position is medium work, exerting up to 35 pounds of force occasionally with frequent sitting for meetings and computer work.
Standing and walking may be required for sustained periods of time for moving from one work site to another conducting briefings.
Periodic driving to and from the work location for outside sales and marketing activities. Reaching may be required involving extending arms in any direction.
Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used, requiring the use of hands and fingers to manipulate a keyboard or keypad.
Visual ability to read a computer screen or written documents is necessary. Speaking ability to express or exchange ideas;
impart oral information to clients, staff or to the public; or convey detailed or important spoken instructions by means of the spoken word is required.
