Position Summary:
This is a working supervisor position that will oversee 2 FTE while also working a caseload of families or individuals in need of targeted prevention from homelessness. Families and Individuals who are permanently housed but are at risk of homelessness due to rent arrears, and or past due utilities in selected and targeted zip codes across Pinellas County.
This is a field based position with no opportunity for remote or work from home.
Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services field required.
- 5-7 years of experience working with high need, high risk families.
- Experience with homeless services and the prevention of homelessness.
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19 immediately upon hire. This is a condition of employment, exemptions to this requirement must be addressed in advance with HR.
