Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working a moderate sized caseload of families or individuals in need of targeted prevention from homelessness. Families and Individuals who are permanently housed but are at risk of homelessness due to rent arrears, and or past due utilities in selected and targeted zip codes across Pinellas County.
This is a field based position with no opportunity for remote or work from home.
Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in human services field required.
- 1-2 years' experience preferred working high-need, high risk families.
- Experience with homeless services and the prevention of homelessness.
