Position Summary

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
- Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
Requirements:
- 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
- Must have a current CPR certification (Required)
- Level 2 Background check and Fingerprinting (Required)
- Valid Driver's License, reliable personal vehicle, car insurance (Required)
- Recent Negative TB Screening Results or Chest X-Ray (Required)
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
- Excellent communication, required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes
