The Clinical Data Associate contributes to our mission by identifying potential candidates for research studies based on project specific guidelines, and ensuring consistency, integrity, and accuracy of clinical information. This individual may also obtain, compile and archive accurate and complete data profiles on all products available in the Discovery Life Sciences inventory supply chain.Responsibilities: Review and analyze electronic medical records (EMRs) from clinical sites to identify potential donors for biospecimen collections that meet complex research criteriaEnsure accuracy and integrity of data entered in SalesForce databaseProvide clinical data to customersCreate appointment schedules for tissue sample collection at clinical sitesSend shipment summaries in follow up to customer shipment notificationsMay generate and reconcile a variety of reports updating the site on inventory and order statusCommunicate with sites regarding any missing clinical information, data requests or collection issuesCommunicate with Project Management regularly concerning the availability of patients each week that fit project criteria, the status of any outstanding customer requests for clinical information, and any issues or concerns with locating or providing certain portions of clinical informationMonitor case queue for incoming data and cases that require actionMonitor WorkFlow Case Queues for data follow up and cases that require actionTrack incoming and outbound shipmentsRedact Protected Health Information (PHI) from medical records and reports, in accordance with HIPAA standards, prior to uploading into patient cases in SalesForceTimely follow up with sites on outstanding data componentsCoordinate the shipment of collection kits and patient samples between Folio Conversant and clinical sitesRequest kits and verify outgoing inventory before shipment to sitesEnsure samples meet quality standards determined by the project criteria and data specific guidelinesKeep abreast of company?s product line and customer needs as determined by management, project management and feasibilityRespect the privacy of the personal information of patients, co-workers, and all individuals with whom the Company interactsEnsure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operations
