General Summary:
This full-time role is designed for an energetic, optimistic, and friendly individual who will be a key player in our Sales and Guest Services team's transition from a traditional call-center to a consultative sales approach. Ideal for teachers and other educators, you'll engage with schools, youth groups, and the public to offer tailored experiences at Discovery Place.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about our offerings.
- Engage with guests to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Coordinate and book Museum visits, classes, and programs for various groups.
- Utilize knowledge of exhibits and programs to encourage sales and guest engagement.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals set by the Sales Manager.
- Report activities and guest interactions to the Sales Manager.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions and input guest data into systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's evolving approach.

- Team-oriented, able to collaborate well with other departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and pay attention to details.
- Efficient in time management and proactive in improving systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience in Salesforce is a plus.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High School diploma required. At least one year of sales experience is essential. Previous experience in education, call centers, or guest service is a plus. Experience with outbound sales calls preferred.
Working Conditions:
Professional office environment. The noise level in the environment is moderate. We are currently working in a hybrid model. This position is in the office several days a week, with opportunities for remote work. This is not a remote-only position.
Physical Demands:
Candidates must have the physical capability to lift 10 pounds and possess full auditory, visual, and manual dexterity. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle are also required.
