Job Summary:
We are currently looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to join our Emerge team. The role of a Regional Manager supports and assists the Property Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by collecting rent, fees, and other payments daily. The Regional Manager is also responsible for completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, processing invoices for payment, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, and recording, tracking, and reporting on all financial workings of the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the operations of multiple properties, ensuring profitability, occupancy, and resident satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop property managers and onsite teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and success.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure properties operate efficiently and comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Customer Service: Drive exceptional resident experiences by maintaining high standards of customer service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring community satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regional demographics to develop strategies for growth and improvement.
- Reporting: Provide regular performance updates to senior management, including financial reports, occupancy metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Compliance: Ensure all properties adhere to federal, state, and local laws, including fair housing regulations.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of property management experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site management role in the multifamily industry.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team development skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage property budgets, financial statements, and achieve business goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, teams, and senior management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills and ability to think strategically to overcome challenges.
- Technology: Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Valid Driver's License
