Dog Daycare Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure that each dog receives the attention and care they deserve. This position requires strong customer service skills, as you will interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets' activities.

Duties

• Supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage with dogs through play and exercise to promote socialization.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including cleaning up after the dogs.
• Administer basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing as needed.
• Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
• Assist in training sessions or reinforce basic commands with the dogs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's day.
• Keep accurate records of each dog's activities, feeding schedules, and any special needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred.
• Skills in dog training, pet sitting, or grooming are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Physical stamina to handle active dogs and perform cleaning duties throughout the day.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and well-being.
