Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Doherty Staffing Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong cost estimating experience and knowledge of plastic fabrication processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain BOM and labor routings for various plastic products
• Determine the most cost-effective method for producing plastic products
• Prepare cost estimates to assist in sales efforts
• Communicate with outside vendors to obtain pricing on outside services
• Develop templates for new parts and maintain existing ones
• Collaborate closely with designers and the sales department
• Adjust labor routings and materials to meet product specifications

Requirements:

• 2-year Technical Degree
• 2 years of progressive cost estimating experience in a fabrication environment
• Knowledge of plastic fabrication processes preferred
• Strong team-oriented and independent work skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Highly computer competent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Adaptable to change and good problem-solving skills

This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $58,000-$70,000 annually.
