We are seeking an H2A Specialist to join our team based in Yakima, WA.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented H2A Specialist to join our team and oversee the administration of the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Program. Vital for this role is an individual is who is organized, efficient and energetic!
Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Ensuring Compliance with various entities including US Dept of Labor, State Workforce Agency and L&I as it relates to H2A program
· Liaison between Company and regulatory government agencies on recruiting, housing, transportation, worker abandonment and termination notices
· Manages and oversee all housing and transportation fleet including ability to conduct maintenance and repairs (mechanically inclined) and work with vendors for maintenance and repair
· Inspect housing regularly for cleanliness, appearance and enforce house rules, and company policies
· Assist employees with issues regarding wages, L&I, housing, and transportation
· Develop effective working relationships with workers, operation managers, ranch managers, HR team, accounting department and various outside venders
· Participate in financial activities such as the negotiation of housing and transportation rates along with purchasing of supplies
· Manage recruitment reports
· Assist in H2A Onboarding
· Explain company personnel policies, benefits, contracts and procedures to job applicants or employees.
· Qualify and train new van drivers.
· Must be able to consistently and effectively maintain records
· Actively participates with industry events
Requirements:
· Bilingual, English/Spanish (required)- Read, Write, Verbal Communication, and translation all required for this position
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent with computer skills
· Interpersonal problem-solving skills
· Ability to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
· Ability to operate effectively in stressful situations
· Passion and determination to succeed
· Minimum of two years of related work experience (preferred but required)
· Maintaining professional manner consistent with company policies and standards of conduct. This includes but is not limited to confidentiality, punctuality, attendance, respect, teamwork, positive attitude and leading by example
· Must be able to effectively write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information to large groups
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Schedule
Monday through Friday on-call weekends during Active H2A Contracts
Ability to travel up to 75% in assigned truck around Eastern Washington state.
Location/Intended Job Area
Yakima Washington (Home Base) with farms and housing in- Yakima County, Adams County and Grant County

Hourly Wages $19.50- $26.00
Salary Wages $80,200-$90,000 (must be well qualified with two or more years’ direct experience)
