Job
Summary:
As an HR Manager, you will serve the law firm and the legal tech startup. You will play a
crucial role in handling all aspects of human resources, including hiring,
onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. You
will be the go-to person for our team members, supporting them in various
HR-related matters and fostering a welcoming and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee the
entire recruitment process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews
and onboarding new hires.
- Manage employee
benefits programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Handle all
aspects of employee onboarding, orientation, and training.
- Implement and
enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state
regulations.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Coordinate
employee performance evaluations and provide guidance to managers on
performance improvement strategies.
- Address
employee relations matters, such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary
actions, with professionalism and empathy.
- Stay updated on
HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure the company's HR
policies are current and effective.
- Foster a
diverse and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of all
team members.
- Collaborate
with management to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the
company's goals and objectives.
- Promote a
positive company culture through team-building activities, company events, and
employee recognition programs.
- Ensure
a safe and healthy work environment and adhere to all health and safety
guidelines.

Requirements
- Proven
experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Thorough
understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability
to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient
in using HRIS and other HR software tools.
- Experience
in the legal industry or with tech startups is a major plus but not mandatory.
