The Default Reporting Analyst is part of a team of highly skilled analyst which support and develop various reporting needs throughout the corporation. Using various tools, many advanced documents are created which assist with the trending and management a constantly evolving mortgage portfolio. Excellent, advanced PC skills a must, with a solid understanding of writing and executing complex formulas, macros, models, lookup and pivot tables by executing data from one or more files and/or databases.
We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3 years of financial analysis background with work experience in data analysis of financial and regulatory data elements.
- Advanced level experience in writing complex queries and formulas needed to extract data from several databases, Excel as well as many other technical tools and data files. In depth knowledge of technology concepts (e.g. relationship databases, mainframe, client and web-based platforms).
- Ability to gather, understand and document business requirements for reporting and trending needs, which translates into corporate documents and work product. All candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface well with fast moving cross-functional teams, while providing ad hoc analysis within a short period of time, with minimal supervision.
