Investor Accountant I
Full time: Nonexempt: 37.5 Hours: Overtime as required

General Description:
The Ensure timely and accurate reporting, remitting, and reconciliation to various mortgage investors. Interaction with all levels of the organization as well as Clients and investors.
Responsibilities -Include, but not limited to:
· Transfer all new loan sales before the cutoff at the correct UPB, service fee, and investor loan number.
· Prepare any manual reports required by the investor guidelines.
· Ensure all remittances are made on contractual due date.
· Ensure all reports are sent by contractual due date.
· Review exception reports and clear/resolve items timely.
· For Scheduled/Scheduled investor, ensure that the loan/pool level security balances, test of expected P&I, and cashbook reports are properly maintained.
· For Scheduled/Actual investor, ensure that the test of expected P&I and cashbook reports are properly maintained.
· Complete bank account reconciliation according to investor guidelines.
· Ensure bank reconciliation exceptions are cleared timely, according to investor guidelines.
· Prepare audit responses as requested.
· Respond to client/Investor inquiries quickly and appropriately.
· Perform all other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.
Required Qualifications:
· Baccalaureate, Associates degree or equivalent job experience.
· Investor reporting experience preferred, bookkeeping and/or banking experience helpful.
· Knowledge of Mortgage Servicing Software Platforms is preferred.
· intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
