What are the responsibilities and job description for the Income Audit Clerk position at Downtown Grand Las Vegas?
This position is responsible for reviewing and auditing source data to provide accurate and timely entry to accounting systems and sub-systems.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Audit all gaming and non-gaming areas according to established procedures and gaming regulations as well as facilitate timely and accurate recordings.
- Communicate with company personnel to ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review system documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with all departments of any discrepancies via exceptions.
- Maintain support documentation for further review.
- Notify immediate supervisor of any potential discrepancies and assists with research and resolution of problems.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned for the success of the department and property.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Two (2) years industry experience.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
Required:
- Demonstrated proficiency with adding machine and computer input terminal.
- Accounting and clerical background helpful.
- Gaming knowledge helpful.
- High school level courses in accounting principles, and/or through related work experience or six months of on-the-job training.
- Other skills necessary include the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
