Job Description
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced and innovative construction consumable, heavy equipment rental company who is seeking a Driver/Warehouse to assist our team in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a highly organized and dependable team player to assist our team in reaching critical deadlines, providing excellent customer service, and producing quality work for our internal and external customers and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving/stocking inventory
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Signing for deliveries
- Inventory cycle counts
- Equipment and material transfer and palletize
- Inventory Control Knowledge
- Maintaining the warehouse (organizing, cleaning, sweeping, etc.)
- Cleaning rental equipment
- Back-up driver/runner - No CDL required
- Bin location accuracy
- May assist with dispatching drivers
- Participate in Ongoing Process Training/Safety Training
- Loading/unloading and driving a F-450 flatbed.
- Delivering supplies and small equipment to the jobsite.
- Interfacing with our customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Qualified driving and towing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well-organized with attention to detail.
- Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Ability to move from one task to another efficiently.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
Required Skills:
- Clean Driving Record.
- Pass a drug screen and MVR check.
- Trailer experience preferred.
- Construction supplies are needed.
- Construction Equipment knowledge is needed.
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Proficient in MS Office Excel/technology
- Multitasker
- Experience with operating various types of construction equipment is a plus
- Basic computer knowledge with Rental Man software experience is a plus.
- Demonstrate Integrity as a Core Value
- Forklift Operator Certified (prefer)
- Areal lift Certified (prefer)
Additional Information:
- Full-time - 40 to 50 hours per week OT as needed
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
