This state-of-the-art facility holds transformative learning programs includingsuspended obstacle courses totaling 800 ft. of challenges, 20 ft. rock wall, and 160 ft. zip lines from the choir loft to the altar. The ropes course staff also execute our therapeutic workshops wherein participants further the goal values of their organization through play and team building exercises.

Position Summary: Our organization is growing and Dragon's Den is seeking experienced and not experienced part-time Ropes Course and Belay Instructors/ Workshop Facilitators to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading ropes course activities and team building workshops to children, schools and families. Interview Process: Prior experience is not a prerequisite for this role, as all selected candidates will undergo comprehensive training on ropes course and belay procedures and practices. However, a necessary aspect of this position is comfort with heights and the ability to be suspended in the air at heights exceeding 20 feet. During the interview process, candidates will have the opportunity to experience our ropes course firsthand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead ropes course activities for groups, children and entire families
- Demonstrate and teach proper belay techniques to participants
- Take active role in team building activities and group games
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
- Communicate and collaborate with other staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized space and equipment
Requirements:
- High energy and enthusiasm!
- Flexibility in schedule and tasks performed ( we are a small team and we support each others)
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be comfortable with heights
- Must pass a background check
