Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team at DreamCatchers Hair International in Allen, TX. This is not a temporary position; we are seeking a dedicated individual who will play a crucial role in our daily operations. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for tasks such as shipping and receiving, packing, unloading, operating forklifts, and using pallet jacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas.
• Accurately count all products before storage, compare counts to shipping documents, and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and correct product codes.
• Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to the supervisor.
• Prepare and pick products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
• Load products from staging or storage areas into trailers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other power equipment to move, stack, and stage products.
• Maintain the warehouse, ensuring equipment and materials are kept in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and security protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in shipping, receiving, packing, and unloading.
• Skilled in forklift operation and pallet jack use.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:

• $18-$20 per hour
