As a Process Engineer, you'll be a key driver in strengthening manufacturing capabilities across the organization. You'll design, refine, and optimize production processes while collaborating with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product consistency. From data‑driven improvements to new technology trials, this role places you at the center of delivering safe, high‑quality, and dependable products to customers.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain exceptional product quality through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
- Monitor and enhance equipment performance, contributing to system design, layout revisions, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Support new product and equipment launches by conducting trials, defining KPIs, analyzing results, and pushing operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and food‑safety requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP) through detailed risk assessments and proactive corrective actions.
- Partner across cross‑functional teams to resolve process issues and communicate technical insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Train production teams on equipment, procedures, and new processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Take on additional responsibilities that support manufacturing and organizational goals.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and quality systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to apply data‑driven decision‑making to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, DraftSight); 3D CAD experience (such as SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in process engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing operations; experience in converting or printing is beneficial.
